Hi chrise, all 5 letters are treated individually ie there's no indication that a letter appears more than once.

For palindrome fans (acknowledging date formats may differ) later this evening it will be two minutes past ten.
Which means it will be…
22:02 20.02.2022

Tuesday is a palindrome day, 22.02 2022, all day!

For chess enthusiasts, another big online tournament (Airthings Masters) is going on. I really enjoy the tournament format (rapid chess, pool play -> knockout with 3 points for win, 1 point for draw, interesting and diverse field of players). Coverage at chess24.com: Leko/Sachdev for "chess nerds", Howell/Houska/Snare for "general public".

Masterchef
I suppose I can forgive Greg and John for not being able to speak Italian ("an arancini"), but John doesn't even seem to be able to speak English - he keeps geeting mixed up between "me" and "I" (though Greg usually gets it right).

Hi Chris
This is one for the Pedants United :)

I don't watch Masterchef or any cookery programmes.

Accordiing to the Britannica Dictionary and other publictions, the common misuse of "me" and "I" is now acceptable in casual conversation,
but is to be avoided in formal writing or speech
Same with plurals in Italian being used as singular. Grrr

Hi jazzy - how are you?
In my part of East Lancs, "was" and "were" are quite consistently used the "wrong" way round - "I were" and "you was"...
