Yes, thank you very much! I do know the word, but it wasn't in any of the lists I tried and I couldn't think of a strong drink beginning with a except for ale! Again, very many thanks. I'll now go and find a stamp and send it off.

Hi Heather39 - if you have a problem with anagrams google anagram solver and use the Universal Anagram solver - it seems to work most times

distress is a bit misleading - more of a scourge, sickness or deformity - something one has to bear.

73 is an anagram of 'susan one name' where a letter represents 'one'
77 short version of 'have' + initials of well known Scottish golf club = another name for terrace although it is usually part of a building
