Thanks, got the others now but still have a brain seizure on 16a. I have a part of a ship for the answer and I'm sure it's right as it's also the "food in a forest for pigs" definition but then my mind goes blank?

Nearly there! The solution to 25dn eludes me, as any of my answers that might go with 7dn, give a poor choice of words for 28ac, none of which fit the clue.

OK, well the themed word you need to use is the same one as for 23 ...

I don’t agree with the assertion that 19 is the acronym. The medical term is made up of the first 3 letters - you can’t add an ess and get yet another acronym. The answer is the plural of a type of plough. When I get 14, the acronym should be evident - any hints to arrive at that will be welcome.

Daw, I initially thought 14 was the acronym, but I realised I’d spelled the unadulterated answer incorrectly. Correcting the spelling revealed a word.
