Grid filled, phrase in grid found, but still missing the three word phrase, because I’m not sure of the 12 th letter. Does 34Ac yield one of the letters?

The last two letters of the flatmate in 10a are troubling me...

That was unusually straightforward.

Annoyingly, I can’t parse 10a, which gives me two options for the unchecked final letter. I know it’s a straight, non-thematic clue. I can see the ‘custom’ 5 letters in the middle, but can’t make any further sense of it.

Quiz, Lumen, I thought 10 A was quite clever. You need a five-letter word for Hey! Then replace 'old' with your 'custom'...

At least I can get some work done this week, without having to devote hours to the Listener.
