Another oldie to put to the forum then, this time Araucaria from 2005.
Instructor's lost in student body (5) T-T-R
Now I obviously have TUTOR, but can't parse it.

It's an &lit of sorts, the word INSTRUCTOR losing IN and SRC (Student Representative Council, 'student body') to produce TUTOR. Not one of the great man's finest, IMHO.

Thanks - I'd forgotten the SRC, clearly too long since I attended higher education! And to finish that crossword off:
Formerly 11 shortened down under (5) O-N-E
Clearly OUNCE as OZ is the shortened form, but the relevance of 11? For reference, the 11 answer is ROUND TURN, the knot.

ONCE ('Formerly') 'round turn', ie around U (U-turn) = OUNCE.

'Peg' is a term for a measure of brandy and soda, which would be just the thing for a 'B and S man'.

Capri pants are "longs" as opposed to "shorts" for a female? Pretty feeble, if that's it!
