I haven't read this book so I've had to visit Wikipedia to get a plot summary and find the names of the characters - still, I do love a whodunit:-)

After a request for a link to the puzzle earlier in the thread I googled to see if it is available anywhere - and failed. However, I did find that fifteensquared includes very detailed solvings of all Inquisitors (2 weeks after publication of course). Great resource for clearing up any unsolved puzzles, unresolved parsings and includes endgames and puzzle title significance.
I've used the site regularly for old azeds that I'm working through but never noticed that they cover the Inquisitor.

mostly finished but have nagging doubt about 3d right. My answer is 8 but my sleeveless jacket is only 5. Where do the last two letters of the answer come from (because I don't want to highlight them)?

Can I get help with 11a, I have a Roman province for RH but can't parse, guessing first letter unclued maybe. And for LHS I have CHO??? so a few options to link with singers, but can't get it.
Also still struggling with top row centre word, despite tips on forum. Throw in, plus obscure word for rope? Does it end ING?
