All done and clear except for the location of the missing letter in 9ac. It would seem to be in one of the first 2 words but I’m still baffled. Enlightenment would be most welcome.

Thanks drxx, I didn’t even think of googling a place. Doh, as they say.

I'd like to locate one of the 2 letter Ls required to complete the 14 letter word. I have one of the Ls for definite at 29 Down. I'd appreciate help on my missing L as this is the last detail I have to get before I can really say I've completed the puzzle.

I've one final clue to solve before completion. Can anyone confirm if the middle letter of 14a is e?

depending on which letter I put in cell 2 I have 2 different letters to put in the unchecked cells in 1ac or 2d. Does this mean I have gone wrong somewhere or does it not matter which I choose?

Hi, patch49,

I’m assuming that you have identified the answers to 1ac and 2dn and are unsure as to how to enter them. In both words, if you remove the checked letters, you should be left with three letters. In each set of three letters, two of these are the same and go in the two unchecked cells. The other letter is common to both sets, and goes in the intersecting cell numbered 2.
