Some hints/guidance would be greatly appreciated for these three...

16. ... so make smart coppers surround the border - i have an answer that starts and ends with S based on smart coppers being the SS (their suits were made by Hugo Boss) but i'm not entirely happy with this! Am i barking up the wrong tree.

24. Ken's in trouble after what sounds like a trashy type of drama - feels like this should be an anagram but i've exhausted all options.

86. Sergeant-major frightens about fifty with such weapons! - a sergeant major is also a fish, does that have anything to do with it? Again, feels like there is an anagram there somewhere but no luck.

Thanks!

16. Yes, you are barking up wrong tree. The middle 3 letters are a word for border ( e.g of a drinking glass). The 1st and 5th are both the same letter and the start of the proper name for coppers.
24. The letters of the 1st 2 word are included in the answer. What do you wash your dishes in? (Other than a dishwasher)
86. 1st 2 letters of hyphenated words + something that wakes you up in the morning around the latin letter for 50.
