Hi, Rusty!
Chicken pox is highly contagious, not dangerous generally, but anyone infected should be kept way from pregnant women , very young babies and anyone with a low immune system.
The disease can be caught more than once, although this is unusual.
I, unfortunately, have had chicken pox three times.... twice as a child, and once as an adult.
The last time resulted in serious eye problems.
Hence the concern to keep YB away from me at present!
He will be free from infection once the spots have scabbed over, and then will be able to return to nursery.
He could go outside provided he were not in contact with anyone else.
It is indeed very fortunate that his mum is able to work from home!
Yes, becoming very cold here , too, this evening.......what a change from early afternoon!

Hello, Elle!
I did not know that about the effects of the chicken pox.
Yes, best keep him well away from you.
I think the top temperature here tomorrow is 8C.
But I think the snow forecast is less likely to happen.
Hope so!

Good Morning, Rusty!
A wet and chilly morning!
A very muddy dog on our return from the park.
Why does it nearly always rain when I have a hair appointment?
I am away to have a trim.......
I have a few things to do whilst out.... I shall be back about lunch time.
I hope you have no sign of the forecasted snow?

Good afternoon, Elle!
Lovely day here but a bit cold.
No sign of snow so far!
My son and daughter-in-law are having a day away in Glen Clova, (their dog is called Clova, too!) so they are more likely to get snow than me.
Puzzle finished, and I am heading out for a walk now.
Heading for the Nature Trail, and hopefully the horses are not in a skittish mood!

Good afternoon, Rusty!
It is still raining here.....a very miserable day.
I hope you enjoyed your walk?
And that your son and daughter- in- law have a good day out at Glen Cova.
Whereabouts is that? Is it near to you?
Do they have special memories of the place that their beagle is called "Cova"?
That sounds to be a rather nice gesture.......
I am home for the day now......
Time for a coffee and a catch up on the crossword!
I expect you have already finished yours?

elle-on Sunday a neighbour came round to tell me she had a flood and the electrics were out- same problem as you. I think I'll get a plumber to check under my bath!

Hello, Elle!
It is a lovely day here.
Nice and sunny, unlike the forecast!
Glen Clova is due North of me, not too far at all, just several miles North of Kirriemuir.
One of the Angus Glens, at the Southern end of the Cairngorms.
Great walking country (watch out for the adders!) https://blog.visitcairngorms.com/6-reasons-to-visit-glen-clova-in-the-angus-glens/
I don't know why their dog is called Clova.
I'll have to ask!
I'll contact them later to see how they got on.
It is my daughter-in-law's birthday today, so she may have chosen this outing!
Yes, I did my puzzle in the morning.
Not very tough.

Hi, Rusty!
We have sunshine now that evening is upon us, but up till now it has been raining all the day.
I did not go out again after coming back from the hairdressers......
( I now have an inch off my hair length!)
I loved the photos of Glen Cova......what beautiful scenery.
I wasn't sure whether you meant your son and his wife were coming back in the one day........or staying overnight?
Although I guess they might have to be home for both Miss O'Hara, and Cova the dog?
It will be interesting to learn why Cova was so called....?
Yes, a relatively straightforward puzzle today...although I still have two clues to do...
I may ask for help later, if I am still stuck!

Hello, Ros!
Yes, that sounds like a plan...….
A stitch in time and all that jazz!
As I understand it, these flexible hoses only have a lifespan of about five years.

Good Lord, elle! That sounds like a conspiracy to me. Five years??? When does nayone check under their bath and what would they look for?

Good evening, Elle!
Still sunny here.
It is "Clova", not "Cova".
As far as I know they will be home this evening.
I would think Clova and my granddaughter will be with them, though I don't think she would like it.
I'll text later to find out, without being too nosey.
