Good afternoon, Elle.
I am just in.
I waited until postie had been before I went out.
Was expecting a book, but not here yet.
I knew of "regurgitate" too, but the other one was a surprise.
I knew Avebury had something to do with standing stones etc, but I did not look it up.
23, is "unconditional"
"A" Parisian is "un", "train" can mean "condition" as in gym work. Area is "a" and "l" for line.
Unconditional is "total".
"Moles" can be "jetties", Elle.
Somewhere where boats can be moored.
So "moles" deprived of energy is "jetti(e)s, running is "on", as in the washing machine is on/running.
Any more just ask.
Time for a coffee, now!

Hi, Rusty!
Ah, thank you.
I thought a "mole" was either a furry little creature or a spy!
I did not know that it could be a jetty!
I have certainly learned something new today!
All done and dusted now.
I think we might be having "April showers"?
It is now sunshining, yet raining at the same time.
However, the dog is stressed ...I wonder if it is going to thunder?

Hello, Elle!
There are fairly well known moles at Dunkirk.
They were used in the evacuation of the Allied troops during the last War.
So, well done on your puzzle!
April Showers here too.
I quizzed my daughter-in-law again about Clova.
My son chose her name because he likes Glen Clova.
Clova's sister is called Bonnie.
I wondered if she may have been called after another of the Glens, but no!

Hi rusty
You've reminded me of a story of the police arresting a very drunk American in Edinburgh. When he had sobered up the following morning, they asked him why he had drunk so much.
"I thought I ought to try each whisky associated with my family name"
"What's your family name?"
"Glen"

If I had to pick, it would be Talisker or Highland Park, though the best that I ever tasted was a Glenlivet that my father had from the Scotch Whisky Club.

Hello, Pigale!
Not seen you on the forum for a while?
I hope you are keeping well and getting out for a leisurely walk to the village to meet your friends.

Good evening, Rusty!
I have been to Dunkirk.
We walked miles along its glorious sandy beaches on a beautiful sunny day.
It was hard then to imagine its history.
I had been thinking of a far more romantic reason for Clova's being so called!
I had thought perhaps your son and daughter-in -law had spent their honeymoon there.......or maybe he proposed to her there......
But just liking the name is an excellent reason, in itself!
Our dog had two brothers...... their pregnant mum was found tied up and abandoned on a deserted gipsy site, and was then taken to Battersea Dogs' Home.
Mum and the three pups were eventually all safely rehomed.
Our pup was apparently the runt of the litter...and the boss!
Our rain has ceased, and we now have a pleasant evening........just beginning to grow dark.

Hello, Elle!
You have been to Dunkirk and did not know about the moles?
Dearie me!
Well, I only know what my daughter-in-law told me.
She never mentioned romance!
That's good that you took an abandoned dog home.
Well done.
Clova was at "day care" today.
That's where she sees sister Bonnie and they are inseparable.
They seem only to have time for each other.
Still lichty here, and dry.
