Hi, Rusty!
Yes, Hudl is still charging......... but I am not holding my breath!
I do not have your faith.......
Your medical practice sounds very different from ours........we never get results of any nature from the nurse........only from one of the doctors.
We can make an appointment with the doctor of our choice , providing we give sufficient notice.
Our practice nurse has a limited list of which services she provides.
Fortunately, ear syringing is one of her "to dos"!
I like her a lot, she is very nice and friendly.
We had a good chat.
Her daughter-in -law is shortly to give birth to a baby girl!
My ear is fine now, thank you,
All clear.......it did prove very stubborn though!
Poor Lassie - she seems to have had a miserable afternoon..........
I think she has been looking out for Laddie ever since she arrived.
She must be getting anxious?
Great pictures!
Wow!

Hello, Elle!
Next week when I see the nurse, she will go over my blood results with me.
Including cholesterol, kidney and liver function, BP, urinalysis, weight, etc etc.
This is all quite normal for the nurses/patients in our practice.
This is what I call my MOT.
Seems to work quite well!
I suspect Lassie may be calling for fish?
There may be a male bird in the vicinity?

Hi, Rusty!
Oops.....Sorry...I don't know what happened before.......I only got as far as the greeting.........
I think your medical practice sounds very efficient indeed ...and also very much larger than ours..
We have annual MOTs in that blood tests are done once a year routinely.......but we are not called to surgery to go over the test results unless there is an abnormality.
i have thought before that Scotland NHS,.....perhaps because it is less busy? our NHS system here is very overworked - treats its patients more personally.
I have discovered that I appear to have broken off a small piece of a back tooth.
I don't know how/ when this happened? the sharp edge drew my attention!
I shall phone the dentist in the morning....but I am doubtful I can be seen until after Easter- my timing is not good, is it?!
I shall now watch "Eggheads"......

Hello, Elle!
My practice contacts me each year to get MOT'd.
They make two appointments for me.
(They also send a text message to my 'phone the day before appointment to remind me.)
One (as I had today) to take bloods, and one next week with a practice nurse to go over the results with me.
If anything was not as it should be, they may ask me to come and see them again in a few weeks, or, possibly ask me to see my GP.
The nurses are very good at giving out advice, too.
I am not so good at heeding it, though.
So, their system seems to work quite well.
I have no idea if all practices up here work the same way.
It is a large practice though.
I think we have nine GP's now, and quite a few nurses.
The nurses run various weekly clinics, too.
I like the practice!
My son and family moved to the practice when they moved from Fife back here, and they think the practice is vastly better than the one they went to in Fife.
There will be emergency dentists working somewhere in the vicinity.
Your dentist will tell you where to go if they can not see you.

Hi, Rusty!
Your GP practice sounds way and above better than our practice.
And from what I hear, other practices locally are much the same as ours.
I cannot speak though for any other area.
On the plus side, though, we got good enough treatment and help when my husband had the lung cancer, so I cannot really complain if they just lack a bit of finesse in other areas.
Our own GP was certainly very supportive then.
My elder daughter phoned earlier, and we have been chatting for a while.
She thinks there might be a problem with the screen on my Hudl?
I am past understanding anything........but she will look at it when she comes to stay.
Meanwhile, I am browsing new ones...!
"Just in case"!
I shan't see any other dentist!
I have faith in mine...she and I are good friends.... but I'm not going elsewhere!
If she cannot see me tomorrow, I shall wait till next week
I haven't even looked the crosswords today!

Hello, Elle!
There is a lack of GP's in this area.
Practices have closed.
Your daughter may well be right!
Yes, a good idea to have a look at new ones and read the reviews.
Has anything took your fancy?
I think I'd be the same regarding your dentist.
I suspect the emergency dentist would put in a temporary filling until your own dentist could see you, but I have never been to one.
It was a good puzzle today.
I can not log onto the loch site, now!
If it is not one thing it is another at the loch!

Update, Elle.
Apparently there is a report on FaceBook, that earlier, Lassie was seen in a tree with another osprey, eating fish.
The watchers in the hide think it was Laddie.
I can not access the loch site for some reason, either on 'phone, tablet, or Chromebook!
