Hello, Pigale,
How are you this fine day?
I can only offer you my experience regarding printers.
I have had two. Both Epson make.
My latest is around a year old. It is a Wi-Fi one.
It was easy to set up and it seems to perform adequately for my purposes.
It was certainly at the cheap end of the market. I only use it occasionally. The model is XP-405 and cost around £50 from Currys/PC World.
Type "Printer reviews" into Google, and you should come across decent review sites like TechRadar to guide you.
Can I choose two riders today?
Either Peter Sagan, or Dan Martin!

Good morning, Rusty!
Now would you be referring to me here, or Kate Adie?
No, don't answer that "on the grounds that it may incriminate you".......!
Besides, I have now remembered the title ; it is "The Kindness of Strangers".
How are you today? looking forward to your trip out with a granddaughter?
It's a glorious day here, but much cooler and fresher - just as I like it!
Have you been out yet for your paper?
I'm just about to do a quick "dyson" round, as we are having visitors this afternoon!
Then a shortened bit of tennis viewing before they arrive about 3.30 (when "school's out")
I hope you enjoy your cycle racing!

Hello, Elle!
Fine day here at the back of beyond!
How's tricks?
Now, I have received an email from those nice Amazon people, telling me they have credited my account with £10 because they spotted me checking Android devices!
Spies everywhere!
This money is to be spent exclusively on Apps and suchlike, I think, but shall explore later.
Did you get a similar "come-on" from them?
PS, i don't really think that was the name of Kate's book!

Hi, Pigale!
We bought a new printer relatively recently - it's a Canon MG5500 series printer
It will also photocopy.
I'm finding it very useful and easy to use. I do use it quite a lot.
You'll end up with so many recommendations, you won't know which way to turn!

Hi Rusty,

A quick word before I return to my printer search ;

two riders? OK - Agree with P Sagan, M. Trentin if Cavendish is not on form and, why not, Coquart - About time those Frenchies did something!

Wonder if Matteo Trentin is related to Trentin and Moledon?

Posts crossed, Elle!
Now, who in the name of the wee man could possibly call you "nosy"?
Yes, after the driving lesson me and Miss L Plate are going "out"!
I like your "dyson" round.
I am buying another vacuum cleaner tomorrow.
Just a small cylinder one, and to that end have been having a wee look online for "value".
I am almost certainly going to buy a Tesco model costing £39.99. It gets excellent reviews from folk who have bought one. And here's the thing....many folk in their review refer to it as a "hoover", when it is actually a Tesco!
I am going to have to tear myself away from the golf.
The tournament is at Gullane, and my man, young Rickie Fowler, is going along nicely!
Do you know Rickie?
He is a young American and has Japanese and Native American grandparents. One of each, I think.
And that is what makes the world go round!

Hi, Rusty!
What is it with you and vouchers? First World of Books...now Amazon!
Amazon never send ME any money off vouchers! (what is your secret?)
I'm thinking of a more underhand approach....?
Maybe putting several books in 'My basket' - saving them, then walking away (so to speak).... do you think that would work?
Maybe then Amazon would then approach me a day or two later, and try to 'bribe' me to buy them?
Worth a try?

Rusty, our posts crossed for a second time!!!
I quite like the idea of your 'tescoing' or pushing the 'tesco' around!!
So does golf take precedence over the cycle racing then?
I don't know Rickie....., but you have mentioned him ...er... once or twice......so I know OF him now.
Are you expecting him to win?
You do know that you will also be missing one of your favourites, Maria Sharapova, playing the detested Serena Williams, don't you?
Have a good time with Miss L-Plate!

Elle, no I don't expect Rickie to win.
I suspect he is just approaching next weeks Open in a professional manner by playing similar links to the one he will be on next week.
He is playing in shirt sleeves, so must be enjoying our Scottish breezes! Not bad for a Florida resident.
Mind you I think the vast majority of the top golfers live in Florida!
I shall have to pick a lady to win the US Open which starts today. Either Lydia Ko or Paula Creamer?

OK, I shall now say 'thank you' to Chrisg, Rusty and Elle for your advice which,.........I did not follow !!!

Nothing against you, honest! Simply I either could not find one in Amazon, the other had delivery was much too late or, and that is an important factor, the price quoted was in £ only

Now, the Pound is strong, or rather the Euro has gone down (which is a good thing for business, eg for exporting French products, but of no help to me today).
Hence the price was not that competitive.

After a good look I went for an HP (again !) but of a higher standard, and it is a printer, a photo-copier, a scanner and a fax - really multifunction. I also bought a good reserve of cartridges. With my Premium Amazon account, delivery is free and I will receive it tomorrow ! Just what I wanted.

I am one happy lady!

Thanks again.

I therefore went for
