Hi, Rusty!
No, you're okay....I'm a tad over sensitive at the moment because I am so worried.
Now, regarding the crematorium/ cemetery.......if a plant or wreath is obviously dead, I think the powers-that- be sometimes remove them?
But I doubt there is an official timescale.
I have UKIP for 25d?
"You kip" sounds like UKIP.
An acronym is normally written as one word?
Like NATO, NASA, and WHO
I think this is all right?

Hello, Elle!
Yes, I can understand you being worried.
The wreaths I removed were in perfect nick.
A pity to discard them, but that's what I do.
I do not really know about acronyms, but I just feel that UKIP (4), is wrong.
I would have NATO as (1,1,1,1), too.
Maybe I would never make a setter!

Hi, Rusty!
Oh dear! I must have been asleep.... the phone rang and I thought it was my alarm clock!
I was flailing my arms around trying to stop it ringing!
It was a friend phoning to enquire how we are .... that cheered me up immensely.
A lovely kind thought!
I am reading a Sidney Sheldon book - convoluted plot and lots of intrigue.
You wouldn't like it, but it certainly makes for entertaining reading!
Goodness, I cannot believe that we have reached 4pm........where has the day gone?
It is raining here, now.

Hello, Elle!
No rain here.
Guess what?
There is more Ping Pong on Sky Sports tonight!
i am staying clear of it!
I do not know Sidney Sheldon.
I have the BBC Weather site online, and they appear to have changed it today, and not for the better!
I think I'll look for another weather site.

Hi, Rusty!
You know, thinking back, I rather think we used to call it "Ping - pong" when I was but a child!
Our weather forecast says that we are in for another very cold spell.
Tomorrow morning is meant to be only 2C!
What is the forecast then for your area?
I have just been organising for my friend to take my dog out for a walk tomorrow.
She will come to collect her at 8am.
It is time I started to get back into the rhythm of things.....getting up at my usual early time will be a start, even if I am not going out myself.
We have had filming in our street today....I have no idea why?

Hello, Elle!
Tomorrow morning, for here, is "light cloud" with temperature up to 6C.
That will be fine!
That's a good idea to get a doggie walker organised.
Could it perhaps have been Google filming in the street?
I know that goes on.
How is your husband getting on today?

Hello Elle and Rusty,

Are you starting somewhat better Elle? and your husband?
It will take time for the antibiotics to work I suppose.

Glad you found someone to walk the pup!

Re Ping-pong, this is what I mentioned to Rusty last night, after
you went to bed - I too seem to remember always referring to
"a game of ping-pong" - never "table tennis" either in French
or in english.

We are due for a minus cold weather next weak - BUT with
sunshine!!! At long last!

Good evening, Pigale!
I seem to remember "table tennis", rather than "ping pong"!
You seem to have had a better winter than we have.
But, it has been a good winter here.
Only one proper fall of snow and little inconvenience with it.
Hope you enjoy the sunshine!

Hi, Rusty!
The friend who will take the dog out is the one whom I meet at the park every morning, and we walk our dogs together.
She very kindly has been offering for the past few days to collect the dog, but I haven't wanted to be up so early!
She is coming here at 8am.
The poor dog hasn't been out for a walk since Friday......so I shall make the effort to get up and organised tomorrow.
(That isn't actually as bad as it sounds, as we have a big enough garden for her to have a good run around!)
Thank you for enquiring after my husband.
I think he may be improving a little.... he came downstairs for a couple of hours this afternoon, which is surely a good sign.
The antibiotics though are giving him an allergic reaction .
His lips and tongue are rough and slightly swollen, but tomorrow is the last day of the course, so it is best that he completes the dosage.
I hadn't thought of Google as doing the filming...yes, a possibility!
When I am out and about again, I have no doubt one of the neighbours will tell me what has been going on!

Hello, Pigale!
Yes, I am feeling a little better, thank you,
Having finally managed to eat something has helped!
I am still very croaky and cannot talk without coughing, though.
My husband's meds finish tomorrow evening.
Hopefully they are helping the chest infection, but they are making his mouth very sore.
He will be glad when the course is completed.
This is certainly a nasty bug...and it is amazing how many folk are exhibiting similar symptoms.
I hope you yourself stay free from it.
