Heather playing better in the second set - she' s just broken Serena's serve to lead 3-2 ( but why aren't you watching it?)

I watched a bit of tennis earlier today.
And I am awaiting the golf coming on.
And trying to keep cool.

Rusty, you seem like a nice sort of man and I quite like you, BUT when it comes to the Tour, I think your idea is
'preposterous'! :):):)

By the way, you did not get an answer sooner because the Net connection is being difficult today - must be the heat!

Heather has just taken the second set!!
She has played brilliantly and well deserved to win the set!
Now...fingers crossed.......!

Ah, Pigale, you seem like a very nice lady and I like you, too!
Now which one of my wonderful Tour ideas is preposterous?
I think the Net gets busier in late afternoon.

Right, Elle, I shall tune in to Heather.
Hope she trounces the "panicker"!

I have a feeling you know very well what i am referring to, but here it is, just to refresh your memory (under this heat....)

'Grand depart PARIS, and rest of the Tour in YORKSHIRE'

Do you have an Arc de Triomphe anywhere near-by?

And why not have a time trial stage along the Adrian Wall?

Pigale, good!
I am all for innovation! i
No Arc, and I think the Adrian Wall is a bit further North.
And no Alpe d'Huez.
Oh, well, maybe best leave Le Tour the way it is.
Do you watch Wimbledon?
Good game on now.
Williams v Watson. Exciting stuff!

No Rusty, sorry to be a disappointment to the Forum generally, but I simply do not like Tennis - don't like playing (never mastered it because it did not interest me) and i don't even like watching it . (I like making fun of the heads moving left to right and back when they show a bit on the news!)

I think I might even prefer Cricket, if only I could understand it - But i do love the commentary of Test Match Specials on Radio 4.

Now that I have disgraced myself regarding Tennis, I shall leave you to watch the match and hope Miss PR does not win !
