Hello, Elle!
No ice cream. I have been stood up!
Miss L Plate awoke with a very sore throat and has rebooked me for an another day!
Victoria has always been a bitty "flakey", but always delivered! She has an emotional personality.
I have no problem at all, with the odd tear from her!
And it is perfectly natural to fall in love!
Young folk do it all the time, thank goodness, or the world would come to a stop!
She stood by her man and the BCF were terrified that she would not ride at the London games, and backed away!
I know the younger girls in the GB team worship Vic.
And that includes the champions like Lizzie, Trotty, Jess Varnish and Becky James.
It is hellish hot here today.
I was out earlier and met a young lad with his hoodie pulled over his head! Oh dear!
Is Heather playing today?
Are you helping your husband in the garden, or just bunging him the odd grape as he passes with the mower?

Hello, TheRogue!
Yep, all set for tomorrow!
I think realistically, Contador is the man to be on.
My bet for the GC is Thibaut Pinot, a young up-and-comer, but high time France won again!
I have Cancellara tomorrow, but fear Tony Martin.
Took Pierre Rolland for King Of the Mountains.
Yes, Lizzie rode well. She is off to Italy now for the Giro Feminine. Good luck to her there!
Young Pete Kennaugh should be good enough to get in a break and maybe a stage win.
Stage 3 with the finish on Mur de Huy should suit him.
We shall see!

Afternoon, Rusty!
I am sorry to hear that our granddaughter stood you up - I had thought the ice cream would help to cool your well justified wrath on Victoria's behalf!
I have been actively gardening!!!! but I'll bear in mind the grapes idea for next time......I could lie on a lounger and dispense the largesse.....
Gasquet is playing Dimitrov on Centre Court at present - two sets up- and Serena and Heather are on next after this match finishes, should you want to watch it?
Heather could do with your support....!
It's somewhat here too this afternoon - planning on taking the dog out much later, maybe as evening falls when it might be a bit cooler?

Bonjour Pigale!
May I differ with you, ever so slightly, about Quintana?
He is not a "good" climber, he is a "wonderful" climber!
But, can he get over the cobbles, survive the crosswinds etc in the first week?
Interesting about your neighbour, Pierre Rolland!
He is joint leader of Europcar with Mr Voeckler!
I think this is the last year for Team Europcar.
Let's hope Jean-Rene Bernaudeau can find another good sponsor to take over.
Very warm in Scotland today, Pigale.
We had 1500 lightning strikes yesterday!

Hello, Elle!
Wrath, Elle? I like fair play, is all!

I was in the humour for an ice cream, and a J2o, too!
The passionfruit ones are tres bon.
And what does J2o mean, at all?
The origin of it's name may be on similar lines to the naming of WD40?

I shall cheer on Heather, so!
And whoever is playing Djokovic!
I was lucky enough to get two baskets of grapes at the Whooops cabinet today.
One was for Miss L plate but she is hors de combat today, so needs must I eat them myself!

Ah yes, pigale, would agree with you over Quintana and, may I say, a prolific climber! But I wonder if he has reached his peak (no pun intended!) yet? They say that the riders are at their best in their early 30's. I'm sure there have been younger winners in the past though.
Yes Rusty, Pinot is a good strong young rider. Bardet is another I like to watch out for. Don't think it will be too long before France have a winner!

sorry, I misinformed you, Rusty - it is Djokovic who is playing next on Centre Court- against Tomic.
Heather is on after that match.

Just heard on Sky that London, Manchester, and a "Scottish city" are among the bidders for the Grand Depart of Le Tour in 2017.

Start them off in Scotland I say, Rusty, show them what REAL hills are! In fact, send them up the "Tourist path" on The Ben... That would be like 20% cobbles!

I always assumed it was like "H2O", but with the J standing for "juice"!
