Hello, Elle!
No, Miss O'Hara has been with Mum and step-sister before.
First time with big cousin and old Granddad!
A lot of the ladies were admiring her hair!
Glad you liked the "skies".
I noticed another video but it is two hours long.
May try it another time.
I have finished my puzzle.
I wondered if one or two were prize puzzle standard?
I liked it, though.
I had 13a not quite right for a while, hence I could not get the parse, but then saw the light.
23d is a new word to me, though I saw it hidden but had no idea what it meant.

Hi, Rusty!
Well, I am not liking this week's 15 x15 at all!
I have all but finished, but there are a few parses I am not happy about.......
I have "structural" for 13a...is that correct?
And unless I have gone wrong somewhere, for 21d, I have R?D?O?
Is this "radio" and if so, why?
I must be being very dim.......
I have finished the Jumbo GK though!
It is starting to rain......

Hello, Elle!
Good, you are doing well!
"Structural" is right. "Concerned with building" is the definition.
Support is a "strut" around/walls "c" for about, and the river is "Ural".
21, Set is the definition.
"R" for radius, "so long" not quite is "adio(s)"
Giving "radio" set.
Keep at it.
You are going well!

Sorry, Elle.
In 21, "c" is the abbreviation for the Latin word "circa" meaning "about" or "roughly". Often it is "ca".
I still call a "radio" a "wireless"!

Hi, Rusty!
Ah, I didn't think of "Ural" ......I was considering "r" for river.....
And in the other clue, I was trying to shorten "radius" and convert that somehow to "radio"...
( I told you I was being dim!)
But your second post has really lost me.......there is no "c" in 21d?
I think there is only "discussion " to parse now in 18a?
Is "discus" a "projectile"...or am I way off beam again?!
Our rain turned into really vicious looking/ sounding hail!
I wouldn't have thought it cold enough to hail?

Hello, Elle!
I have blundered badly!
I meant the "c" in 13a in "struCtural".
Sorry!
I think you are correct with "discus/projectile".
Now the next part I am not on solid ground as I only got arithmetic at school, and I think "Sin" is a "function" in maths or somesuch?
With O for oxygen inside sin.
Sorry for delay. I was watching cycling.

Hi, Rusty!
No problem, Rusty!
Yes, "sin" is a mathematical term.
Although I did not see that when attempting to solve the clue!
I hope your cycling is going well?
No horrible accidents?
I am away to wash my hair.......and then I am going to watch the Gateshead Citygames.

Hello, Elle!
I did not get maths at school although I recognise some terms in use in maths.
The cycling was great.
A successful attack by Contador in his last race.
Huge crowds on the mountain.
Wet roads caused a few crashes and a motorbike went down, too.
All perfectly normal in the cycling world!
Jamie Murray and Miss Hingis have won the first set in the final.

Hi, Rusty!
I have just finished watching the recording of the Gateshead City races....
It is all over now for the Season!
Gabby Logan has been asking some of the athletes which cake they are looking forward to eating now that training is over for a while........
Sticky toffee pudding and Red Velvet cake seem to be the favourites!
But one or two of the male athletes put forward an alcoholic choice, in preference to cake!
Tomorrow there is the Great North Run between Newcastle and South Shields....
Mo Farah is taking part in that!
Great news about Jamie and Martina!
Well done them!
