Hello, Elle!
It seems that the outlook for your cat is promising, Elle.
Let's hope so.
Have you written to the EuroPlayer folk yet?
I was thinking of staying up late for the Northern Lights but it was two in the morning today, they appeared, and if it is the same tonight, it is a bit late, for me anyway.
Mind you, the sky is nice and clear so far.

Hi, Rusty!
I should be tempted to stay up to see the lights for myself!
It must be an amazing experience, Rusty!
You could sleep in a little longer in the morning?
Depending of course what time you are going out with the girls!
Yes, I have written - and posted - my letter to E. P!
I also enclosed a copy of my year- long trial contract.
I am not holding my breath, though, for a reply........
(I'm still waiting to hear from Chambers!)
Is it tonight that Rafa Nadal plays del Potro in the semi final?
I think the other semi is Kevin Anderson v. Pablo Carreno Busta?
I think Anderson is 6 ft 7 ins?

Hello, Elle!
You CAN see the lights!
Go you to YouTube.
Type in "The Night of the Northern Lights".
It is a two minute clip of the Lights above Caithness, Scotland.
There are many videos of the Lights.
I may stay up, though.
The tennis is not on yet.
I am not sure who plays who.
There are a lot of boys and girls matches on.
I could not watch Nadal!
His idiosyncracies before serving would drive me up a wall.
None of that with Rod Laver!
Miss La Bamba is calling for me at 10.30.
I am not sure if anyone else is going with us.
I may hear later.
Well done on your letter writing!

Hi, Rusty!
Wow, that video of the Northern Lights is fantastic!
The Lights are so much more impressive seen as such, than as still photographs.
You really should try to see them "in the flesh" so to speak, if you can?
I have been watching "Cold Feet".
It is still as enjoyable "fifteen years on".
James Nesbitt is in it.........you will know him?
Usually I record ITV programmes , so that I can watch them later, and fast forward through the adverts!
But the recorder is playing up, off and on, so I decided to watch the episode tonight, to be on the safe side.
Thank you for the additional E.P. addresses.
It is good to have further contacts to fall back on, if the first does not bring forth fruit!

Hello, Elle!
Yes, they don't call them the "Merry Dancers in the Sky" for nothing!
AuroraEurope say conditions should be perfect tonight.
There will be many photographers out trying to catch them shortly!
And in watching them, the entertainment is free!
That appeals to us, North of the border!
I do not know "Cold Feet" but I do know James Nesbitt and I like him.
If I were you I would be emailing the Chief Executive Officer, for what I see on the Internet, there are loads of folk in the same boat as you, regarding non existent service and unacknowledged emails.
I record programmes too, and fast forward.
Especially BGT!

Hello, Elle!
Seeing you enjoyed the Northern Lights video, the same photographer has a spectacular video called "Things You Never See".
Type that in to YouTube, and it lasts over 4 minutes.
It is night time-lapse photography of the Lights and the sky at night.
Mainly filmed in Caithness and a little bit in Iceland.
I think it is superb!

Good morning, Rusty!
A beautiful 'fresh' day here!
I am just back from my walk.
So in the end, did you stay up to see the Northern Lights?
And if you did......were you successful in sighting them?
Should you be interested..... and it doesn't clash with anything else....there is Athletics later.
It is the Great North Citygames at Gateshead today, at 1.15 pm on BBC1.
You will be going off to the Pine Cone shortly.....I hope you and Miss L-B - and any other granddaughters who join you - have a good time!
Now.....I am just going to watch "Things You Never See"..........

Good day, Elle!
Fine weather here!
I went to bed as it was cloudy.
Maybe this night though!
I am going to watch the Tour of Spain today.
They will be climbing the Angliru, possibly the toughest mountain climb in cycling.
It will be brutal!
Misses O'Hara and La Bamba were at Pine Cone with me.
We had a nice time.
And Miss O is taking me tomorrow!
Hope you like the "skies"!

Hi, Rusty!
I am glad that Miss O'Hara decided to join you !
It seems like quite a milestone, going out with Grandad and her big cousin!
Is this also the first time she has been to the Pine Cone?
We have been out doing a bit of shopping...... but I am back home for the day now.....
My husband has plans to visit Homebase or it may be B & Q, but I shall give that a miss today.
I intended to be back in time to watch the Athletics, but that didn't quite pan out!
However, I am recording it....leastways, I hope I am!
The recorder had a mind of its own yesterday!!
The "skies" were great!
Is the Cryptic hard today? or is it just me?
