Good morning, Elle,
Fine day here, too!
Maybe the cat will get home?
A decision for the vet I would say.
I saw a bit of Rafa the other day.
His mannerisms before he hits his serve are a bit much for me.
I feel itchy watching him.
I'll support Roger!
Jamie Murray and Martina Hingis are still there.
I like them.
I am going for a nosey later on.
There is new cafe/bar being built not too far away and I shall have a walk by to see how it is coming along.
A change of walk for me!
I have finished my puzzle.
Not too difficult, though 22d took me yonks to get the parse!

Hi, Rusty!
I think the vet is holding fire to see what the biopsies produce.....
I don't want to bring the cat home until the temperature problem is sorted..... anything else, we can take him back if he needs further treatment later.
We shall see what happens as the day develops.
Yes, Rafa goes through quite a taradiddle before he serves......fiddling with his hair for instance!
And have you noticed he does the same routine each time; each action in the same order?
I've gotten used to it!
But yes, I shall be supporting Roger as usual!
It would be nice, though, if I were able to watch them play!
I have been busy all morning....washing , cleaning , etc... I am in an energetic mood!
I haven't had the time yet, to look at the crosswords!
Have you been to spy out your new local cafe?

Hello, Elle!
Go with the vets advice regarding the cat.
Rafa looks like he has bugs crawling about him with all his carry on.
I am awaiting the postie before I go out.
Usually around 2.00 he gets here.
This cafe is part of a chain.
Is there one called Costa Cafe?
It is a name like that, and a pub/restaurant alongside it.
I may not get close to it though, with Safety regulations.
Still a fine day here.

Hi, Rusty!
It is (interim) good news!
Karin, the vet, has just phoned to say that my cat's temperature is back to normal now, although he is to continue with the antibiotics for a time.
And as his operation wound is healing nicely, she is happy for him to go home!
It may of course be necessary for him to go back later for further treatment, depending on what the biopsies show, but for now she thinks "Home and a lot of TLC" are what he needs!
I am happy with that decision ...she has been our vet for many years, and we have great faith in her!
She tells me she has tried chasing up the biopsies...apparently the initial lab has sent them on further to another specialist........
I don't know whether this bodes good or ill?
But obviously a longer waiting time is involved.
So we are to go see her at 5 pm for cat to be discharged.
He will be happy to be home! and the dog will be ecstatic to see him!
Now, there is "Costa Coffee"?
It is a brand of coffee, but most of their cafes around here are called such , or else just "Costa". It seems to vary with location.
As you like coffee, I would recommend your trying it - it is my favourite brand of coffee - they also sell toasties ( the girls would like that) and various other snacks, hot or cold.
(I use Costa coffee in my Tassimo machine)
Anything nice coming in the post?

Hello, Elle!
Good news about the cat!
If you see Karin, ask her why the biopsies were sent on to another lab.
I am not at all sure of the name of this coffee place.
I think it is a drive-in one, however that works, I do not know.
I am awaiting document from DVLA in the post, but they had me addressed wrongly previously and a good job I have a great postie who spotted the error and delivered it to me.
Had an "alert" earlier that we may get a good show of the Northern Lights tonight.
You folk may be a bit too far South, but wait until dark and go outside and look North and you may see something of the "heavenly dancers"!
It is best watching them from a rural location, though.
Now, speaking of dancers, I had a look at "America's Got Talent" earlier and there was a super wee 12 year old girl ventriloquist on.
Her name is Darci Lynne.
You can find her on Google or YouTube.
I think she is going to be successful in the future!

Good evening, Rusty!
Well, we are home again complete with cat!
His temp is back to normal, and he has a cold wet nose that he keeps thrusting into my hand!
He is having to wear a "lampshade" to stop him from interfering with his stitches, but he doesn't see to mind it too much,...... I suppose he has already had a good few days of tolerating it.
He's eaten a bit of food, had a wee, and is now having a good wash.........
He has had no trouble jumping up on the sofa, and running up and down stairs.
All good signs!
I don't know how a Costa Coffee Drive - thru would work......perhaps similar to a Drive -thru Macdonalds , where I believe you cruise through in your car.....giving your order.... and are then handed the goodies through your car window!
I will look up your ventriloquist later......

Hello, Elle!
Good news about your cat returning home!
You can relax a bit!
I am a bit suspicious of a drive through coffee shop.
Does the driver drink his coffee on the move, or what?
Seems hazardous!
Type Darci Lynne into YouTube, Elle, first item.
She is good, and only twelve!

Hi, Rusty!
I have just watched young Darci and her White Rabbit.
Yes, she is very good indeed! I was most impressed!
And she got the Gold Buzzer!
Cat has been curled up next to me on the sofa!
And he is going to be the cleanest cat on the planet, by the time he has finished grooming himself!!
Karin gave him a long lasting (for three weeks) antibiotic injection, because giving him tablets on a daily basis is an impossibility - as she well knows from personal attempts!
I hope all will go well...... at least he is home and happy!
I can relax, for now, as you say.......
It must be expected that drivers have coffee/ tea /whatever / in cars?
Otherwise why would there be these "built -in" drink holders?
We have them in our Volvo......although we have never used them.

Hello, Elle!
White Rabbit?
You must have watched a different one from me.
The one I saw was when her puppet (an old lady) serenaded Simon Cowell. (And Mel B was speaking Armenian!)
Darci is very self assured for a young girl.
I thought she was great!
I have drink holders in my motor, too.
