Hello, Elle!
I purchased a TESCO own brand vacuum.
Works fine!
I was at ASDA earlier.
Took me ages there!
I was showing off Miss La Bamba's photo to everyone!
A fine afternoon here now!

Hi, Rusty!
Ah yes, "Blue Bayou"! Linda Ronstadt?
I actually have two vacuum cleaners!
I find it much easier to have one downstairs, and a second one upstairs, thereby doing away with the necessity of carrying the cleaner between floors!
The saving in labour has proved well worth the additional expense!
Our upper "floor" is on a split level, so carrying the vacuum cleaner about was not an easy job.
We have had two machines for many years!
I have only done the Times QC today...quite a fast enterprise!
I am not in the mood, though, for attempting anything brainier!
All the grandkids are back at school today.......
I hope it is going well for them......
Another class, a new teacher.......

Oops, Rusty!
Our posts have crossed because I started a reply to your previous message......
And then the phone rang!
I stopped in the middle of typing to answer it!
That is good that you have bought a vacuum cleaner!
And presumably at a reasonable price as it is a "Tesco own brand"?
What type did you get in the end?
Cylinder or upright?
You realise that Miss L-B is now going to be beset by strangers (to her) .......telling her "Oh, I know your granddad"!

Hello, Elle!
Yes, the one and only Linda Ronstadt!
I know several folk with upstairs and downstairs vacuum cleaners.
One is all I need.
Maybe you will be in the mood for your puzzle later.
I have not tackled mine yet.
I am off out for a dander.

Hi, Rusty!
I hope you enjoyed your walk?
Where did you venture?
Still damp here.....
Now....... Eurosports Player!
I have finally had a response from them!
They sent me yet another temporary password enabling me to gain access to my account.
This I did........
Then I very carefully followed (as previously) their further instructions to change the temporary password to one of my own choosing......
This now does not work...exactly what happened before!!
So I am back to emailing them.....
They tell me they are inundated with similar problems.....!
"Efficiency" is perhaps a word they should look up in Chambers....?

Hello, Elle!
I purchased a cylinder model.
It cost £35, so a fair price, I think.
One of Miss La Bamba's "besties" works part-time at ASDA, so she is known there anyway.
Everywhere we go, know about the young ones.
I tell folk about them.
My ASDA is a smashing store, very friendly staff.
And I get all the stories from them, too.
Eurosport have been "hanging the cat", as we say up here, for ages!
The EuroSport Player folk are now proven to be utterly incompetent, Elle!
It is a pity they have no competitors or you could have jumped ship.
When is visiting today?

Rusty, I'm just going to "visit" right now!
Weekdays, the visiting hour is 5 to 6 pm.
Talk when I get back!
