Hello, Elle!
No grovelling please!
There is an enormous amount about Paul on line.
There are several Pauls, too, which does not make matters easier.
I would rather not read about Paul's blinding.
I disapprove of these things.
I saw the crow on the nest earlier.
I think he may be looking for bits of fish that has fallen.
He took off quickly when an osprey landed!

Jazzgirl, your link worked fine for me, thank you.

Hi, Rusty!
I often wonder how many of these Biblical stories are simply meant to be allegories?
But perhaps that is a blasphemous inference, so I will not dwell on it.
We shall move on......
I have just looked in on the ospreys but cannot see the nest?
Instead, the camera is focused on the trees above and the loch.
No birds in sight.
(Does one spell "focus(s)ed " with one "s" or two?)
I am multi-tasking... doing the Everyman; watching the Athletics; talking on the phone....
I seem to have missed any recent references to the Marathon.....?.
How is it going?
How is Callum Hawkins doing?
Wait... I just caught a mention......Callum has now moved into fifth position!

Hello, Elle!
Often the ospreys will be on a tree branch?
"Focused" for me!
Callum is going great guns.
Almost 4th!
I have gave up reading about Paul.
But I discovered that February 10th is the Feast of St Paul's Shipwreck on Malta!

Hi, Rusty!
I couldn't see any ospreys on branches!
Perhaps they were all out for their daily exercise?
Do we know yet whether or not Lassie is still here ?
I didn't even know that St. Paul had been shipwrecked?
Didn't Callum do well?
What a great achievement to come in fourth!
Was his brother also taking part?
I think I must take a break from the TV for a while.... but I don't know what is happening when?
I don't want to miss something I might consider important........

Hello, Elle,
I do not know if Lassie has gone or not.
The communications from the rangers on site is very poor.
I have the golf on now.
They are all well wrapped up.
Must be a chilly sea breeze in Fife!
Surely everyone and their granny has heard of the Church of Saint Paul's Shipwreck, in Valleta, Malta?
Tut, tut, Elle!
It has many visitors.
I am off for a wee dander.
Too much televiewing!

Hi, Rusty!
I hope you enjoyed your walk!
I fully intended to do the same......but have got caught up in the Women's Marathon.
Aly Dixon is front -running at the moment.........only about ha fway round the course though.
Riveting stuff!
I shall watch it for a bit longer.......
But I shall need to take a break at some point.
There is a very good programme to watch this evening!

Hello, Elle!
Yes, Ally has surprised me.
I did not realise the Tower of London was so big.
Golf is very good, too.

Hi, Rusty!
A good race!
The battles for Gold and Bronze were nail-biting towards the end!
Amy Cragg did very well to get the Bronze!
Aly's early bid was very brave...she ran her own race, according to her merits.
Well done, both Aly and Charlotte!
But what happened to Tracy Barlow, our third Brit?
I never heard anything about her?
Tower Bridge makes an impressive finishing line, doesn't it?!
And yes, the Tower of London is very large indeed!
It is a fantastic building, only about a third of a mile from Tower Bridge.
It is my favourite "tourist attraction"!
I love taking visitors there!
(although it costs an arm and a leg to get in!)
How is the golf going?

Hello, Elle!
I enjoyed both marathons!
I was very surprised at the size of the Tower of London.
Was that a residence once upon a time, do you know?
Golf is fine.
Bit rainy there.
it's nice to see Michelle Wie playing well after a few years in the wilderness.
England's Jodie Ewart Shadoff is in second and playing well.
Lexi playing better today, too.
But, In-Kyung Kim has a good lead if she can hang on to it.
Some good European performances ahead of the Solheim Cup, though!

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, both Marathons made good viewing.
I think I became more involved in the Women's race because of Aly's early front running.
Now as far as I know...which isn't much!.... the Tower of London originally was a royal residence, becoming a prison later.
Many prisoners entered through Traitors' Gate.
There is an impressive Armoury in the Tower.
And the Queen's jewels are kept there.....and can be seen on display.
The building got its name from the White Tower, built by William the Conqueror.
I realise I have great gaps in my knowledge......I shall have to do some re- reading and refresh my memory!
Fortunately, when one goes round as a "tourist", there are now little plaques and explanatory notices all over the place........
I just forget a lot of the info!
Athletics starts again at 6.30!
