Hello, Elle!
Hopefully Chris will get the buggy running again!
You miss not having a car.
Now, I have a big grin on my face for I have seen something wonderful!
I watched Carmen Monarcha, then explored further.
I found another person singing the very same song with Andre Rieu.
A little Dutch girl called Amira Willighagen.
She appears to be around 9 or 10, and is sensational.
There are folk in the audience in tears!
Type in YouTube search box "Andre Rieu and Amira".
I think you will like her!

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, I have just been listening to Carmen Monarcha, and then the young girl, Amira.
Both singers were really wonderful!
Amira was first of all on Holland's Got Talent - did you know this?
This was in 2013 and she was 9 then - which makes her about 12 now.
Dressed identically to Carmen, she took the audience by storm, didn't she?
I saw a tear sliding down many a cheek.
I had tears in my own eyes.......
And the wonder of it is that it did not sound at all like a child singing........
I am sure you will enjoy the rest of the concert when you eventually watch it.
I have seen "Eggheads" and am now about to task my brain with "15 to 1"........

Hello, Elle!
They really were wonderful, weren't they!
Yes, I noticed Amira's outfit was a copy of Carmen's.
I wonder if there will be anything like that when I watch tomorrow?
I knew Amira had been on "Got Talent".
I also saw her when a couple of years older.
She sang "O Sole Mio" in a duet with Patrizio Buanne.
They were very good.
I'll have to put Carmen and Amira up on the pedestal with Emmylou and Linda Ronstadt, now, as my favourite female singers!
Some great stuff on YouTube!

You're right, rusty. I have been watching several YouTube vids about painting paneled doors. I am going bonkers with the current situation regarding white paintwork. Apparently some folk are going out of the EU to buy decent gloss paint. I have been told that Johnstone's Trade Aqua does not yellow and is not too bad to put on. A woman from Johnstone's kindly told me to sand down the satinwood I have already put on to provide "a quay". I started, to find that the white gloss I put on underneath it last week is already turning yellow. Why is it still being sold?

Also could hardly find a stainless steel kitchen mixer tap today- all chrome or white or mocha. Luckily B & Q had one reduced because discontinued.

Hello, Rosalind.
The professional deckies will only use certain paints that they can trust to do the job.
i had one here last week who used odourless paint, did a fine job, and was super-fast doing the job.
I hardly had time to make him a coffee!
I know he would not be getting paint at B&Q or places like that.
i hope you get on fine with your painting!

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, I am constantly being pleasantly surprised by what I find on YouTube!
Now......I am looking forward to tomorrow!
I have been invited to accompany YB and mum to Baby Sensory class.
Apparently, they are having a Grandmothers' Day!
Isn't that a nice gesture?
I wonder if it has something to do with its being Mothers' Day this coming Sunday?
I shall ask!
So I shall have to be out very early....well not much earlier than taking out the dog...but I shall need to catch a train by 8.30am, so no hanging about in the morning!
Up and out!
Then afterwards my daughter and I shall have lunch out, as we usually do on a Wednesday.
She will have to play chauffeur tomorrow.....
She will need her husband's car as hers in off the road.
So she will have to take him to work, and BB to school, before we go to the Sensory class.
Then again in the evening, she will need to collect her husband from the college where he teaches.
I, though, will have caught the mainline train home by that point!
Okay....coffee time now.......

Hello, Elle!
You have a busy day ahead of you!
I have few plans.
I have another super video for you to see on YouTube.
It is a duet of Johnny Cash and Linda Ronstadt.
The song is "I Never Will Marry".
I do not know if you know it?
It was first recorded over 80 years ago by the Carter Family.
Johnny and Linda do a fine job on it.
I have enjoyed the music etc on YouTube this night!

Good morning, Rusty!
A dull one here, with rain threatened by ten o'clock!
I could have done without that!
I shall look forward to seeing the video of Johnny Cash and Linda when I return home this afternoon.
You are doing well at finding interesting music!
I think from the title that it is a song I do not know?
Unless of course I recognise it once I hear it........that is always a possibility!
I don't know the Carter family? Should I do so?
Well, I must away to get ready to go out........or else I shall miss my train.
Catch up with you later .........

Good morning, Elle!
I woke up to frost but it has gone now, but still cold!
No reason at all why you should have heard of the Carter Family.
They were a major influence in American folk and country music though.
June Carter was married to Johnny Cash.
Maybelle Carter has been credited with making the guitar the leading instrument in folk and country bands, too.
And I think President Carter was a distant relation.
The Linda/Johnny song is quite good.
She sits there in bare feet duetting with him.
Very simple and very nice!
Hope your day goes well.
I have part two of the concert to catch up on!

There's a raven paying close attention to the osprey nest. Are they a threat?
