Yes, Chris, Loch of the Lowes webcam!
but I keep getting a large part of the picture obscured"......
Like "looking through a glass darkly" -- I'm probably misquoting here!
To change the subject...all the best for your daughter for tomorrow..... hope the day goes well...and the weather is kind to you !
(are they still going to living with you?)

Hi elle
Thanks very much. Lots of preparation going on. The forecast is for lovely weather, if a bit cold to start with, so guests will be able to use the garden as well as the house. The "smoking room" (a garage) won't be needed!

Hello, Elle!
Yes, I am looking forward to my bacon roll!
Will hear a bit more about the patient when I am out.
As far as I can tell, Miss O has to hand in an essay to Aberdeen Uni and I think that is her finished.
She has been assessed at two different schools.
It appears that each of those schools would like her permanently.
I will know much more when I see her on Tuesday.
She has no free time till then.
Her work ethic is excellent!
I am not getting a "veil" at the nest?
But I was getting a poor picture on Chrome last week, and switched to Puffin browser and it is much better.
Why not try another browser to see if it improves your picture?

Hi, Rusty!
Probably you are out now with your friends.......but any way, here goes......
I can hear a lot of flapping about in the nest, and it is very windy out on the loch, but the picture still comes and goes.
I get nothing at all with Google Chrome and partially obscurity with IE - which is the browser I usually use.
There is a notice, though, from the Rangers saying that many people are having trouble viewing the webcam, and they are trying to fix the problem.
My daughter has just phoned to arrange for us all to meet up on Sunday, as it is Mothers' Day.
That will be good - I don't know as yet what we shall be doing!
I shall have to go to the crematorium at some point though.
I have already received cards from my elder daughter and my our son , plus one from my granddaughter!
I am doing well- and very early, too!
How was the bacon roll?

Hello, Chris....it is as well that you qualified that remark........

Hello, Elle!
Yes, it is quite breezy up here, but a lovely day.
I am just home from Pine Cone.
Had a bacon roll and a J20.
I am replete!
We went to the cemetery to visit the babies graves, too.
I never realised there were so many.
Hundreds with teddy bears etc.
I get a perfect picture on Puffin, and it was fine on Opera, too.
You can try lots of browsers?
I am off for a walk now!

Hi, Rusty!
We too have been out for a walk!
We have just returned.
It is glorious here - blue skies and sunshine - but still none too warm!
Show me some sunshine though ...and I don't mind about the temperature.......!
Where did you get to on your walk?
I had a pleasant leisurely morning - I avoided all chores........ had a long chat with a neighbour........and also completed both crosswords!
I have a query though about 16d in the 15 x15.....
One's defensive error leads to defeat for the line
I have "isogloss" = line (def)
i's - one's
loss- defeat
but cannot account for the "og"?
I especially liked 2d and 17a.
And "Sloppy joe" for 3d had me reminiscing!!

Elle, 'og' = OG, Own Goal, defensive error.

Hello, Elle!
Great day here, too.
I went on the Nature Trail.
Saw several red squirrels.
Your "isogloss" is fine, (new word to me!)
Sounds like paint!
As Malone explained, OG is an accepted abbreviation for "own goal" and it is nothing to do with the cricketing terms you dislike!
Yes, "sloppy joe"! Must be an old setter!
Never heard of a sloppy joe for yonks!
I had my roast silverside tea and it was very good.
Any news on your daughter's car/clutch?
