Hi again, Rusty!
Oops!
I finally sent that off that last post, only to find that I am now somewhat behind the times!
See, this is what happens when I stop to chat on the phone in the middle of sending a message!!
I'm sorry about that!
Now.....
Good for Peter Sagan! You will be pleased about his win!
How awful for the other poor man - that is what I don't like about cycling!
I'll keep my fingers crossed for Rickie in the golf!
I shall listen out for strains of "Goodnoight, Oirene" filtering down to me........
I didn't know we had moved on to Storm Ewan?
We are being told here that Doris hasn't "finished", but will be back with snow at the beginning of March!!???

Hello, Elle!
Yes, Sagan rode very well!
Tony Martin will be fine.
All part of riding a bike!
Rickie has on an orange shirt.
Orange is the colour of his Uni.
Oklahoma State.
He always wears it on the final day of a tournament.
Storm Ewan is still in Ireland, I believe, but is making his way across here.
Hope it is not too bad!

Hi, Rusty!
I do not often watch much television, but tonight I have been spoilt for choice!
I like "Call the Midwife" which is on at 8pm., but I record it and watch the programme during the week.
But tonight there is a second "The Voice" show - and that overlaps!
And I should be talking to my cousin!
So I am recording one...watching the other...and speaking to my cousin an hour later than normal, at 9 o'clock!
How is Rickie getting on?

Hello, Elle!
Rickie is trying to snatch disaster from the jaws of victory!
He drove into the water earlier and took a double bogey.
Still has a two shot lead, but it is going to be tough down the stretch!
Yes, best 'phone your cousin!

Hi, Rusty!
Are you still watching the golf?
How is Rickie doing?
I enjoyed "The Voice," and still have "Call the Midwife" to watch another day.
Do you remember my telling that one of the competitors was Jazmin Sawyers - a GB long jumper?
Unfortunately, she was eliminated from the show tonight.
She sang "Happy Birthday" to Colin Jackson recently, at one of the athletics events on TV - Colin was 50!
All is well on the North-Western front - my cousin and family are fine.

Hello, Elle!
"Oirene, Goodnoight Oirene, Oirene, Goodnoight!"
Rickie has won the Honda Classic by four shots!
He was in the water twice but played some great golf!
I have heard of Jazmin Sawyers, I think!
Colin is in good nick for 50.
I like him.
Good to hear your family is fine.
No sign of Ewan yet, but it feels colder.
I have the garage to visit tomorrow.
Hopefully get my lethargic starting fixed!

Good morning, Rusty!
Dreich here!
A very dismal start to the day and supposedly set to become worse as the day progresses.
Well done, Rickie! You will be pleased with that result!
Yes, Colin looks great for his age........I was amused by Gabby Logan asking him ( in the middle of an Athletics commentary!) what he used on his skin to keep him looking so young!
What is happening with your car?
Presumably they will need to keep it at the garage for a while?
Have you had to walk home?
Or does your friend give you a courtesy car?

Good morning, Elle!
Great day here, but icy in places.
I am very pleased for Rickie.
He is one of the "good guys"!
My car is at the garage.
The ignition/starting system is being investigated etc.
And the plan is that it will stay out in the street tonight under the security camera, and they will see how it behaves first thing tomorrow.
First thing in the morning is when it can play up.
I took a mini cab home.
I knew the driver, so we had a good natter on the way home.
I have deleted Tina from my Twitter account.
She has been tweeting in Slovenian the last few days!

Hi, Rusty!
I hope your mechanic can soon sort out the problem for you - it is quite difficult at times being without a car!
( But the additional exercise will help keep you fit!)
Re Tina and tweeting......
I do not understand "Twitter"?
I know that one can follow people's comments but not "how" this happens - nor what a personal account is for, or achieves?
Do you put out information about yourself on this account...and your "friends" look in and respond?
I would ask if it were something like "Facebook" - but that wouldn't help, as I don't understand the workings of that either!
There is a big spread in today's Times about Mo and L-Carnitine.......have you read it?

Hello, Elle!
Not read Times yet, but I read an article on line in Sunday Times about Mo.
I think he is ill-advised.
Salazar is a known cheat, and also in cahoots with the biggest cheat in sporting history, Lance Armstrong.
What is Mo thinking about?
Twitter is merely a social site for communicating info.
I do not Tweet, but I follow folk on it, for their "craic".
Mainly journalists, and several sports folk, like Willie Mullins, Nina, Cancellara, several cyclists, Laura Muir, Eve Muirhead, local football team, a couple of golfers, skiers, The Times, etc.
Round about 85 folk I follow.
Yes, the comments can be responded to.
I am not on Facebook, but I like Twitter.
I will not miss my car.
I go days without using it.
Still a lovely day here!
