Definition is first six words, with a misprint.

First four letters of wordplay are an unusual word for drama.

Thanks very much, hotelwhiskey7 - very helpful; I really should have seen it, but had forgotten the slang meaning of words 5&6, even though I'd worked out the misprint.

Dylan - there's a 4-letter slang word meaning '(over-)technical pop artist which you put around 2-letters indicating "Degen's"; all backwards.

No, bobbycollins, the two-tiered one. I can't see the other one giving away our abundant stock of... (can you?).

Well, the request is already in from our near neighbours - how can he refuse?

An excellent puzzle: challenging and rewarding, the final “illustration” is a treat. Thank you Degen.

My only “hangover” is to complete the first nine cells of the perimeter. The four letters from the gridfill and the five I have left over from the extra words are not revealing much as yet.
