Finished but stuck on parsing of 26d , as no one else has mentioned it I suspect it is very obvious and I am about to have a ffs moment.
Happy New Year to everyone and Brummie.

Three letters “I say”, one letter Latin (for the clue answer). As someone said earlier for the antonym think in temperature terms.

Well, I’ve read all these posts with interest (and gratitude for some of the hints). I’m definitely on the side of the positive responders - a great crossie that makes your brain dance a little bit.
Having said that, I can’t get 18a - no ideas or sense of it at all, but I’m fairly sure it’s an antonym one. As nobody has mentioned it all I’m assuming it’s obvious and I’m blind, but there it is - any help most welcome. Also stuck with 19d, but everything else done. Have really enjoyed it.

Hi Bobs,

18a - parses 1,1,1 for "circle", "line" and "many" (roman numeral) - definition is "getting on" but, youre right, the actual entry is an antonym
