jono, do you mean the bottom row of 29,581 (Ludwig)? I recall that was remarked on @ 225. The odd last word makes me doubt it. I can see EPL GUAM T in the first row, but that seems even less probable.

BTW, I did not enjoy Ludwig's first couple of offerings but liked that one!

I expect a Nina from Ludwig, but also that it will be TV-related and therefore unknown to me, so I don't bother to search. Your theory is a good one...I agree.

I'm glad to say I finished before checking on the hints. LOI was25ac.

I had spotted the anagram in 6d, but my anagram machine refused to solve it, so I had to tackle it the old fashioned way. Once I got that 15ac fell into place and finally 25ac.

At least tomorrow, I can now get on with removing the rest of the decorations.

Wow, that took some time to complete. Not helped by my having the wrong answer for 7d. Needed a hint above in this forum to finally get 12a. A genuine Prize-worthy puzzle from Brummie!

Help needed! I am working off an iPhone without any instructions. Having reached halfway after much struggling I realised that some of the solutions are antonyms. But which ones?

The Speccial Instructions read as follows:-

For 12 clues an antonym of the solution – of the same length – is to be entered.

I think it was mentioned in an earlier post that they are evenly split between the acrosses and downs.
