Can't see anything online, a couple of hours after the normal publication time. Were there any announcements about there not being a crossword this week? Or just christmas gremlins at work?

Not aware of any announcement.
The Quick and Quick Cryptic were both posted only a few minutes after 0Z, so it either was intended (given the challenging jumbo last week?) or a Prize-specific Grauniad gremlin.

Correction...the Christmas Prize wasn't actually jumbo.

For the Friday night puzzle addicts, Julius is in FT. I will try that.

The Grauniad doesn't need the Prize or Christmas as an excuse for gremlins.

As you're on folks, is there another interactive crossword apart from the grauniad? Thanks.

There’s a puzzle by Kite in the print edition apparently so the online version should follow at some point.
