I’m still not sure about my 11 though.

Hi Jono,

I think that is what Geeker was alluding to when he mentioned the bonus feature @1

I'm having a bit of trouble with it though, specifically the 12a, 14a, 20a initial letters on the west side.

Hi Brendan,
Those letters are somewhat random, but should work with the rest if you put the entire thing into your browser…

Darla, I read 11 as a double definition with two different meanings of drum (noun and verb)

Thanks, Jono. That’s what I was thinking, but it seems weak.

Hi Darla,

16d and 11d are the bonus feature Geeker and Jono mentioned.

Not liking it so far. When FOI was the awful 8a I nearly gave up then and there. I've done a few more, but I don't think Soup is playing fair with the definitions - several seem to be hints rather than actual definitions (14a, for example).

They definitely are, but I just thought I was missing something with 11. I know Jono is never going to let me down though. 😉

btw a useful tip: Ullock Pike (5d) is an intermediate summit on the most interesting route up Skiddaw in the Lake District.
