Just realised that Soup has included the entire current cast list of 16 names in the clues. There’s also the name of one of the original cast members and the name of one of the rounds. Quite some feat.

Have finally had lightbulb moment re last letter of 16d. Very good. But I can't make any sense of 12a. There's only one possible answer and it seems to fit one word of the clue as definition, but I don't get the rest. Can anyone give me a hint as to how to parse it?

Oh I've just realised. I know that dog. Have sat through several hours of it.
