…which I now see was way back in 2013! It was the first time I think we saw this device (I could be wrong). The puzzle no. is 26,079 if anyone’s interested.

Jono, I see...I was thinking of clues where punctuation is inserted to simulate stuttering.

That clue you cited is very tricky! I think a far more recent Prize clue (I forget the author, could it even have been Philistine?) was the subject of much discussion and criticism on the forum...I was stumped by it and had to seek guidance.

I don't recall the puzzle or setter...it was a down clue in the SE quadrant.

Found it. Philistine, 21 down (SW quadrant) in Prize 29,201.

I think there was a similar clue a few years ago and the "shaven swine" clue was mentioned then. I think it was Jazzgirl who figured out the correct parsing, if memory serves.

Jono, you're the resident expert on these things - can you shed any light on this?
