I got nothing on first pass which had me worried but it all flowed quite nicely when I got going. Just 4d left which I'm not seeing at all - can I have a gentle hint for what I'm looking for? It clearly didn't stump anyone else

Thanks!

As jono mentioned upthread, the device in 8 is occasionally used by other setters. But I've almost always seen it with some kind of punctuation (e.g. ellipsis) after the first letter.
