I have a full grid other than two unches. I have not (yet) a clue as to what is going on. My 23 of the 26 letters (I currently have 3 missing) seem to produce gobbledygook.

I liked this one. The title is clever and the principle/properties came together nicely to get the adjustments. Thanks Ploy!

Got the additions/subtractions to/from clues and answers and a full grid. Got the properties and the puzzle description and principle messages from the clue letters indicated by answer vowels. See the point of the puzzle title. And then ....? Nothing seems to be telling me to do anything else but Listener puzzles usually have some sort of endgame surely.
A nudge as to what I'm missing would be much appreciated.

My gobbledygook that I had is now 3 words, my original 26 letters were from the answers, not the clues. What an idiot I can be!!!

stacpolly - I had the same feeling, but there's no suggestion that any artwork is needed. I still can't parse 31, but since the def is singular I'm happy with my answer.
