All done except I can’t parse 9a. Is it some sort of &lit?
Would have been good to have the other member of this thematic group but I can see why it was not possible.

Smithsax, 9a. is a composite anagram. " bardic welsh" is an anagram of "the answer + be + rich"

Oops. The trouble with overlapping answers is that I missed that I had not completed one answer. There was no space in the grid. Just as well I don’t submit.

I love it when, as here, the endgame leads me to learn about something real, because I then feel less guilty for the (irresistible) self-indulgence of the solving process itself. It's so satisfying, too, to spot the endgame, then use it to straighten out a few tricky bits.
