Just a general reminder... to give the clue itself, the number of letters in the answer, and details of any you already have. Yes, many of the people looking at the thread will have the puzzle - but there are others who don't tackle Listener but who like helping with clues, trying to help with clues!

12d - 1 part "usurper's head" + anagram minus extra letter - definition is "usurper" (took a bit of Googling to confirm)
