Really enjoyed this, thanks Deuce.

I think I prefer more Listeners more puzzle-y than crossword-y, if that makes sense, so liked the different clueing dynamics and trying to work out what words could be formed in the multi-letter cells.

Didn’t know the theme but the down clue message led me there.

Thanks , Candledave, NE corner now finished, including the only word that fits in 16ac, whose wordplay I can't fathom.

I'm now puzzled by 32ac, where the only letter that makes for a misprint in what I assume is the definition word, is not in the list of incorrect letters. Anyone else had this problem?

I enjoyed this, although the version by the 6-letter creator has on three separate occasions bored me to tears about a quarter of the way through. Should I persevere?

Dylan, the definition for 32 is not just the first word. The misprint is in one of the others

Cripes, that was a slog. I've only managed to limp over the finishing line after a lucky bit of googling that gave me the theme so that I could figure out 1ac and 26ac. I was on the point of giving up before that. Not a theme I am familiar with at all.

That was a real challenge for this solver.

Two residual niggles. I can't fully parse 1 across (I suspect that it's not "hintable"), and at 14 across I need the incorrect letter to complete the instruction to my satisfaction - hmmm.

Bobby, which part of 1a can’t you parse? First three letters or last five? If your letter is wrong for 14a, I suspect you need to change your letter in 13a. Look up that answer (twice)
