Well that was tricky - lots of variety in the endgame and one clue that I really struggled with. A good one (I think).

I too thought this was a superior puzzle, requiring thought for the endgame. If it’s a debut, a very impressive one. One of the best of the year, for me. I imagine you’re referring to 8d, drxx.

Yes, quisling - I really should have checked the corrected word in Chambers much earlier than I did (but it was a welcome discovery - I was completely out of ideas by then).

A bit early to say here, acornz. Most people have barely picked up the puzzle. As always with a good Listener clue, you need to look up every word in Chambers, even the ones you think you know
