...the team is correct at 25, the misprint is two words further on.

I have a full grid and message under my own steam, but have no idea what is happening next. One man's meat......

31a misprint in 1st word; defn is last five words (NOT place name)
31d misprint in 4th word; 'fat' is a slang usage — see BRB
25d misprint in 5th word; PSG is a sporting acronym
7d corrected letter isn't K

bobbycollins. A rather obtuse hint is G6 1972 - which I have checked in a google search - (and for the purists amongst us) it won't lead directly to what is needed. However what you have in the grid should lead you to it.

All sorted apart from:
8d I have a letter for the unch which gives an answer which fits with defn, but can't see the word play.
37a Again, I can't see the word play.

Also, I have only 11 reversed entries — 7 in rows, 4 in columns. Hint for where to look — row or column would be appreciated.

Finally, the two instructions seem to be in the wrong order — unless the second is indicated with an arrow?

Theme is not my forte at all, but we had a similar puzzle a while back, so I spotted what was going on early doors. Thanks, Crash!

Jif, just add a generic word for 'vehicle' to your answer, this will give you the 'stats of Punjab', remembering the 'each clue has...'

You're looking for another across reversal.

For 8 check the '...ie' (slang) ending in Chambers for the 'entertainment' homophone.

...sorry, 'amusement' homophone.
