A 6 letter word for 'decorous' with the 'r' swapped for the other side.

14 - misprint in 2nd word as part of the def (leading to a Latin answer).

4 letter word for 'tights etc' and change a letter in 'lewd' to get its dropped letter.

All done bar parsing of 40ac - any hints welcome!

3rd word changes to give the (reversed) 4 letter synonym inside abbrev 'chapters'.

I was put off by the clues initially but found them good when I got into them. I’ve convinced myself that I have got the answers right though cannot get 31 ac which may be a place name. 31ac was clever but cannot see where to put the corrected letter - suspect vowel in fat - and similarly in 25d - PSG? I still have a few letters to find in corrections for 1&2d, 5d (C), 7d (k)

For 31d the misprint is in the 4th word to give the abbrev. removed from the synonym for 'winding' (up).

First word in 32a changes to give an abbrev (followed by a word for 'finished' + an abbrev + usual 4 letter word for 'said'). It's not a place name.

It's in the first word for 1+2 and for 7 it's the fifth (the vowel alternative).
