From the lack of posts I doubt that I am alone in struggling with the endgame. I have a full grid apart from one cell, have identified the eight clues, know what's going on with the first lot and have definitions - but I haven't a scoobie what's going on with the second set or the name of the song -yet.

I ponder on.

For me, solving just one of the second set's clues revealed everything - but they're all pretty tough (spotting an anagram that would complete a synonym I'd been staring at for some time, did it for me) .

drxx, I have just solved one of the second set so now have some idea what might be going on.

planks - I am exactly in the same place as you other than I have no blank cells

drxx - I assume you are referring to an album title with the 3rd word of the clue being a definition of the other set?
