I’m looking for a gentle nudge. I have a grid and a quote but can’t find what to highlight. Maybe a useful cell to start with might let me in.

Try doing a search using the missing word of the quote plus its source.

Slightly underwhelming. Completed puzzle but can't quite parse 4d. Can see the letters at the end and a bit in the middle that's sort of moderate but can't see where the first three letters are coming from.

SH, 4-letter word for cut/shave/trim with extra A, then word for moderate (as in politics) with last letter missing, then phonetic spelling of a letter in plural. I think so anyway.

Hi SH, if you add the extra letter to the first 3 you get a 4 letter "cut" then "moderate" minus its last letter/'short' then letters.
