Funnily enough I did have 24a starting with M, but changed it to P on reflection and still have 10a starting with T as in sounds like too….

The only answer I cannot get is 7d although I have all the crossers…

I can't check which is correct since I don't get the green tick on the website.

I used an S because I parsed it as 1'5

For 7D the contemporary is someone who might apply pressure.

10a does begin with a T to sound like "to" - I'm only saying I'm sure because I got a green tick.

Oh well! I parsed it as "so" rather than "too". Both work I think...

I had S, but I agree that T is better.

Hi Nicki
For 7 d I make it usual 1 letter for “old” , 4 letter essential part of dragon, inside a 4 letter word for a contemporary, definition is music lover……that’s my guess anyway :-)

10 was my LOI because I belatedly switched the first letter from "S" to "T" after a PDM. Rated as COD because it's a homophone for another (2 words) way of expressing 13...very devious by Paul!

Yeah, T is definitely better, thinking about it.

I would hope if it was a fill in and send off for the prize entry they'd be flexible about it though ;)

Interestingly enough the thesaurus website I use only has the S version and it suggests that if you type in the T version! It only has the T version without the last letter.

The thesaurus site I use https://www.thesaurus.com/ is not great because it is American spellings :(. It also seems a tad non-PC if you look up synonyms of "Welsh" or "Scotch" ;)

Is there a better thesaurus site anyone would recommend?
