I think the S version sounds better than the T version, I guess it's a regional accent thing. S- for "so" just sounds more natural to me than T- for "too", because of the different vowel sounds. How I hear it you'd need a glottal stop after the T whereas the vowel sound kinds of runs into the next one with S.

I do agree the T version is correct though ;)

Hi PS I must admit I didn’t have a problem with this answer as the “T” works and is how I would define “premature” . If a baby is born in this condition I would say it was born “too early” …..there are other Paulinesque examples but I wouldn’t say “so early” as a first choice ….in the end I guess both work :-)
