Can anyone help to parse 18D? I've got the answer (I think!), understand the carbons, but 'perfect exactness' makes no sense to me.
COD 26A -- obviously a piece of cake, but what a surface! Loved the novel anagram indicator in 27A, too

18d - for "perfect exactness" ignore the "carbon copies" and split the rest 2,1,1 then add the A from the clue.

What is going on in 6d? The wordplay looks like "pick a few letters here and there from these words".

Chris, I thought that too, but in fact you only need apply ‘regularly’ to the word following it, then put it ‘in’ Kuala Lumpur as the usual two letter abbreviation

6d - Google gives the abbreviation for Kuala Lumpur as KL and that goes around the odd letters/"regularly" of "harbour"
