It's still early days but the online version of Everyman has yet to appear so here is the PDF version:-

Don't know why it's not as much fun working on a printed pdf (thanks for that BTW, Brendan) as it is doing it on the computer. Anyways, it's a fun puzzle. FOI 24a. A few potential COD's (11a, 20a 7d) Not totally sure about parsing of 21a

And don't go looking for rhyming couples. There's a different version of that this time.

This week's Everyman finally appeared online about 12:55 so I'm hoping/optimistic that the hiccups of the last couple of weeks are but a temporary blipπŸ˜ƒ

This is another excellent Everyman, continuing the run of good puzzles we've had of late.

FOI was 1d followed by 1a.

I didn't run into too many problems but did wonder if "from" or "in" might be missing from 5d but, regardless, it works either way. Also, I'm not certain my parsing of 18d is correct but I'll mull on it a while longer and will hopefully get a PDM (Penny Drop Moment).

I didn't know 11a was a "component of gin" but I checked on Google and, much to my surprise, it is.

If you do get stuck there are two long anagrams in the acrosses and one in the downs, along with one of the longest "primarily" clues I've ever seen!

COD - Lots of contenders this week with the excellent 8d and 1a - both of which have super smooth surfaces. I also really liked 9a but I have to choose the wonderful 19a for evoking such a great image "Pray to tree having taken hallucinogens" - outstanding πŸ˜ƒ

Thanks to Everyman for another excellent puzzle.

Remember, if you do get stuck, don't hesitate to ask for a hint - there are always people on here willing to help.

Stay safe:-)

Oops I meant parsing of 23a. Apologies.
