Finally managed to finish this - whoop!

I've finally got there too. Great puzzle , took a while to get started but once I had a few clashes it speeded up. Chapeau Aedites !

I gave up on this and now the solution has been published, I still don't see how to start entering any answers, given that any clue or grid length may or may not be true! It seems unfair... could you give me a tip or two on getting started please? Many thanks, DSC

There were a lot of good hints on getting started at the beginning of this thread.

Aedites has done a setter’s blog at listenwithothers which outlines some problem solving approaches to filling the grid. LWO includes weekly blogs from 3 regular Listener solvers (including Shirley Curran, aka Chalicea) and often has a setter’s blog too... it’s always a good read.
