The way I read the rubric, I anticipated it would merely be a matter of shifting letters along the alphabet, but having got most of the solutions, I have all sorts of different letter-clashes ... maybe things will be clearer in the morning ...
I've just started. Hamish's reply has confused me. Is he referring to the first post (i.e., saying that the shift is indeed different for different clues) or to the second (saying that the change is even more devious)? And are the clues to be adjusted all across (bar one) or down (bar one)? The wrong responses are going to make me very depressed!
Blimey that was a struggle but satisfying, even though Soup's ears have probably been burning for the last couple of hours. Pendragon, you're on the right lines with the first part of your second sentence. And the answers to be adjusted are both acrosses and downs.
