granama1 - I don't think that from a comment volume perspective one can compare Azed with EV/IQ. Azed is a largely plain puzzle (with a few well-established variations) featuring extremely sound clueing in a consistent style, by dint of having been set by the same person for 48 years. The blogs are generally of a high standard and sometimes say everything that needs to be said - a comment along the lines of "Thanks, Azed" seems rather unnecessary after all these years.
I'd say it's very rare that an EV or IQ (themed, different setters, different clueing styles, clue gimmicks, clashes etc) should leave anyone speechless in a not-wanting-to-comment way...though with one or two of my puzzles it did seem that people had only recently recovered the power of speech when the blog was published :-(
