Hi Malone, thanks, yes, that was just the leg up I needed to get over the finish line but I probably wouldn't have even got close without a good peek in here and those two hints. That was tough, needed about 90% solved before even trying to complete the grid even then 'Pot of tea.../Grass in contact.../Old master...' all had me head scratching for a while.

I'm seeing it as one of them was shot down, and the other was banged up. So I've done it wrong.

I think if the grid is oriented correctly you will be able to find, wordsearch style, the directions that are needed to confirm this.

OMG! I've only just now spotted the E.. and W.. directions written in each side. Excellent.
