Looks like mine.

But I've got two alternatives for 23d. [Two old pennies?](6) and [Two pennies the first one old?] (6). One on the online version, one on the print version.

Decent progress being made generally. Are the occasional parentheses significant? 29a a bit of a puzzle at the moment. Any nudges available? Thanks.

So presumably the correct clue for 29a is the one that starts "Even sheen..."? I only have one clue for 23d in the version I printed off.

Yes to "Even sheen". I see that the parentheses have disappeared from the current PDF, though it still has 2 clues for 29a.

Thanks.

Which is the "correct" version of the clue to 23d?

29a done, but it makes my 15d look an odd word with the letters I've already entered.

Two pennies, the first one old is the correct clue

I think both clues work for 23d. "Two pennies the first one old?" is more accurate.
15d is an odd word, not one i have heard previously.

Thanks again. More thought needed for the odd word.

Think about Russian history.
