kt: Dust is raised when you rub it, and it's what makes a shaft of light resplendent. Double meaning though- one for the bad boys.

Well, just under three hours to go: we have 34 entries so far from 13 setters.

I have to run an errand and won't be back until about 8.00pm our time, so my apologies in advance for keeping you all waiting a couple of hours longer than I should.

Good evening all, and apologies again for the delay.

A lovely set of entries, lots of different approaches, as usual a high quality throughout making my job unenviable.

Aristo started with a prayer-like 2, a couple of slick entries from Mattrom, then angry Ginge and his seething clue. Two nice pithy entries from Nemo, who later, in 18 went on to channel Private Frazer.

SW's 13 brought a smile to the face, followed by punchy clues from FJ.

Does Ginge have an enigma machine at home? I don't think I've ever seen as fiendish a clue as 24. I had to lie down.

A singleton from BBM, then a series of tidy entries from Sunray, the Pullman clue from ChrisE and a nicely surfaced 42 from Paul.

Late arrivals at the ball were SteveA (47 might alternatively have been "setters"!) and PeterM with some nice double definitions.

Like I say, not an easy task, but a winner there must be and it is Skyewalker @10, with the superb:

So mote it be (4)

At first sight bonkers, until you look up the word!

Well done SW, yet another victory and I'm sure you'll be familiar with the prize - I imagine you all will be, but it bears repetition.

Enjoy, and congrats to all entrants.
